Arctic Monkeys man joins P Diddy’s band Matt Helders plays live with rapper on TV tonight (June 11)

Arctic Monkeys' Matt Helders has joined P. Diddy’s band temporarily.

The drummer teamed-up with the rapper and his backing band, Dirty Monkey, for a performance of their new single ’Hell Good Morning’, which is released on Monday (June 14).

Helders filled in on drums during a set for Jonathan Ross’ talk show, which will be broadcast tonight (June 11) on BBC 1 from 10.35pm (BST).

After the recording, which took place earlier this week, the rapper and Arctic Monkeys man went on to party together at Whisky Mist in London.

The unlikely pair became friends last year, while Arctic Monkeys were recording third album ‘Humbug’ in the US.

Alex and Miles recently did a photoshoot with tailor/photographer Adrien Sauvage for an exhibition called "Captains". The subjects, all wearing suits, are "captains of their various industries, whether they be from the worlds of music, film, sport or politics." The photos will exhibited at the end of July ahead of the first A Sauvage collection but GQ can give you an exclusive first look at these pictures of Alex Turner and Miles Kane, AKA the Last Shadow Puppets.
