Ecco dal sito ufficiale del Festival, la line up: An overview of the acts that have confirmed, per day: Thursday June 30: The Chemical Brothers (Main Stage) Beady Eye (Pyramid Marquee) Friday July 1: Kings of Leon (Main Stage), Arctic Monkeys (Main Stage), The National (Main Stage), White Lies (Main Stage) Saturday July 2: Coldplay (Main Stage), Portishead (Main Stage), PJ Harvey (Main Stage), Elbow (Main Stage), The Gaslight Anthem (Main Stage) Sunday July 3: Iron Maiden (Main Stage), Kaiser Chiefs (Main Stage), Social Distortion (Main Stage), All Time Low (Main Stage), Robyn (Pyramid Marquee), Two Door Cinema Club (Pyramid Marquee) Il sito non è aggiornato, pertanto vi consiglio di darci un'occhiata. News QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE DAY 1! Fortunately, on Wikipedia some people have managed to keep track of all past and present members of QOTSA. About forty temporary and semi-steady members, including the present line-up, have passed in review. Only one Queen has been on board since 1997: Josh Homme, singer, guitarist, driving power. He uses this feeling of temporariness for fuel. And look: after 15 years a) Queens Of The Stone Age are still around and b) it is the band of the first answer to the question ‘What is the first band that comes to mind when you are asked to name a real rock band?’. These days, it's all about the fresh start. The band haven't played for a couple of years. Most members have shifted to Eagles Of Death Metal and The Dead Weather while Homme teamed up with Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) to fly with with Them Crooked Vultures. In the meanwhile, their first two albums have been re-released in inverted chronological order. Number # 2 ‘Rated R’ (2000) without too much fuss in 2010, the self-titled debut from 1998 early this year, with an accompanying tour which was only aiming at smaller venues. Just like it was back then. After this they will shift into sixth gear and race through the summer with (hopefully) some fresh material. Mica è colpa mia se questo sito è stato sin dai primordi usato per adescare ragazzine indifese. Il nostro Ministro degli Esteri ne è ben consapevole e vuole continuare tali iniziative. |
