The Arctic Monkeys have reportedly binned their producer Jim Abbiss - and hired another music guru to work on their second album.
Abbiss has worked with a number of big acts including Editors and Kasabian but now the rockers want to replace him with James Ford - the man behind dance act Simian Mobile Disco.
Ford and James 'Jas' Shaw first formed Simian Mobile Disco as a DJ partnership. After playing around Manchester for a while, the two became their own in-house tour DJs.
He also wrote 'We Are Friends', which was a massive hit in Ibiza this summer.
A source told the Daily Star: "James has fitted in seamlessly and the boys have been exceptionally productive. There's close to 30 tracks in various stages of completion and the lads are extremely pleased."
The band intend to release a new single in February.
The source added: "Everyone's sure the lads will easily match the success of their first record."
traduzione in breve :
gli arctic monkeys hanno cestinato
(traduzione letterale
