da www.arcticmonkeys.com: Arctic Monkeys are pleased to announce their own special event at Lancashire County Cricket Ground, Manchester on Saturday 28th July 2007. The show will follow the late Spring release of their second album. Arctic Monkeys are planning to invite support from some of their favourite bands - who will be announced shortly. They will play their longest set to date, incorporating tracks from their debut and their hugely anticipated new album. The tickets for the 50,000 capacity event will go on general sale on Friday 15th December 2006 at 12.30pm. See below for details of how to purchase tickets. Lancashire County Cricket Ground, Manchester Saturday 28th July 2007 (SOLD OUT) Sunday 29th July 2007 Arctic Monkeys have sold all remaining tickets to their 50,000 capacity show at Lancashire County Cricket Ground within 15 minutes of going on general sale. An initial allocation of 20,000 pre sale tickets were sold yesterday to Arctic Monkey fans ahead of general sale.
